Janet keeps abreast of industry trends through classes at the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, trade journals, travel, and acquiring certification as an Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation. The ACF certification is highly regarded in the industry as a benchmark for level of achievement.
American Culinary Federation (ACF) certification is a symbol of professionalism and level of achievement within the industry. It demonstrates a dedication to the profession through education, professional progression and advancement. It assures the consumer that the Certified Executive Chef has successfully completed courses in nutrition, sanitation and supervision and that the foods they are eating have been prepared to the highest quality standards.
In addition to my culinary degree from an accredited culinary program, I felt it was important to step to the next level within the industry and complete my certification. It is a highly regarded benchmark in my field and I am very proud to hold the title of Certified Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation.
